Above The Clouds collaborates with ASICS Sportstyle on the Skycourt™.

Above The Clouds and Asics Sportstyle have once again proudly teamed up to create a collaborative take on the Asics Skycourt, making use of premium materials and a subtle Australian colour palette.

A year on from the success of Above The Clouds’ inaugural collaboration on the Gel-1090 that celebrated the stores 10th anniversary - the store takes on another paired-back heritage silhouette. This time from the Asics court shoe archive.

Keeping up with this archive-revival tradition, the ASICS x Above The Clouds Skycourt™ reflects a mood board of Asics' vintage court shoe offerings from the 1980s and 90s. The Skycourt's upper, which was initially inspired by the Gel-Altitude Volleyball, delivers a delicate Australiana-colour treatment paired with classic retro court shoe detailing.

Adorned with soft, tumbled leather and neutral suede trimming, the upper of the shoe features paired-back Asics Tiger detailing on the lateral parts of the shoe and classic terry-lining in pale sage green. The tongue uses exposed foam and mesh as a call-back to vintage, faded trainers seen on the squash courts of the 80s. Above the Clouds signature branding is seen embroidered on the heel-tab and printed on the inner sole.

ASICS x Above The Clouds Skycourt™ releases online Saturday 8th May 00:01AM AEST & in-store from 10 AM. Sizes US4-13 inc. all half sizes. $180AUD.

The Skycourt will also be available at select retailers worldwide, including; END, KITH Tokyo, LUISA VIA ROMA & Footpatrol on Saturday 15th May 2021.
