Levi's Overlays Denim and Suede in New Balance 327 Collaboration

Off the back of the success of their collaboration on New Balance's 1300, Levi's have returned with a collection of denim-clad iterations of the New Balance 327 silhouette - A collaborative favourite throughout 2020. This time, the Boston-based powerhouse plays to its strengths and pays homage to the variety of denim washes that make Levi's the leader of the denim market. This collab sees the 327 as a canvas for three unique pairs: one women's exclusive and two contrasting men's pairs. All pairs are finished with the iconic and unmissable red tab - a Levi's staple since first patented in 1936.

Smaller sizes get a chance to rock this denim-central collection in the women's exclusive pair. This pair features a light-wash denim upper on the lateral sides of the foot. Barely-grey suede is overlayed across the mudguard while the interior is kept clean and simple with white leather. Finally, it is finished with hits of gum on the exaggerated outsole and lace keeper.

The first men's pair references the brand's legendary indigo wash denim debuted on foot on the 1300. This iteration of the 327 uses classic mid-wash denim which is encased with navy suede to mimic the dark hues of an indigo wash. The outsole sees the same treatment as its women's counterpart.

On a different note, the final pair takes a greyscale approach and features hits of grey denim surrounded by mid-grey suede. The exaggerated 'N' logo on the lateral sides of the shoe is exaggerated in black leather while black and white contrasting is also featured on the midsole and outsole.

 

The Levi's x New Balance 327 collaborative collection will release on the 10th November in limited quantities.
