Paris Fashion Week, Entry 02.

The weekend has come and gone, and with it the 40-degree heat. A summer storm closed out days 4 and 5, perhaps symbolic of the electricity radiating from brands and buyers alike.

There was great anticipation as we visited class favourites Acne Studios, Dries Van Noten, Our Legacy and Post Archive Faction (PAF) - who gets an honourable mention as best collection yet.

We’ve visited friends at Umbro, No Problemo, ROA, Awake NY, A Kind of Guise and Eckhaus Latta, and made new ones at Phileo and DSM Kei Ninomiya.

Between appointments, we attended the Junya Watanabe, Y-3 and PAF presentations. All captured the uniqueness of their collections through the incorporation of dance and endurance at Y-3, jiu-jitsu at PAF, and several upcoming collaborations at Junya Watanabe-Needles, Kappa, and Nike, to name a few.

Shortly, we will be sharing a series of our favourite restaurants (and more) visited whilst here, including Cafe Charlot, Tarantula, Waly-Fay and La Perle.

At the time of writing, the weather has dropped to 25 degrees - a promising change for the final few days.
