ROA: Now at Above The Clouds Store

New at Above the Clouds is the Italian shoe and ready-to-wear label ROA.

Inspired by the crossroads of technical outdoors wear and the dynamic fashion landscape, ROA takes its name from Forcella della Roa, a hiking trail in northern Italy’s Dolomites. Appealing to customers exploring both performance-driven gear and experimental ready-to-wear apparel, ROA is known for its avant-garde approach to materials and fabrication.

Our first delivery for Spring Summer 24 is inspired by wooden furniture through natural material choices and an earthly colour palette. Footwear arrives with the Cingino shoe, inspired by the Ibex of Antrona Valley. It’s made with water-repellant long hair rough suede and a Vibram® sole. Alongside the Cingino is the Rozes Sandal, also made with rough suede but crafted with cutouts for breathability.

Heroes from the ready-to-wear range include the Polar Fleece Jacket in Aloe with a brushed wool blend finish and a lightweight Windbreaker in Black. ROA takes an avant-garde approach to their socks, made from breathable Q-skin® yarn and a perforated finish with an anatomical design.
